The CARBON+ project is part of Valio's Food 2.0 initiative, which
drives innovation and sustainability in food production. The project
has secured €1.2 million in research funding from Business Finland,
along with additional partner contributions, bringing the total to €2
million.
Industry partners include leading food companies Atria, HK Foods, and
Fazer; technology firms Gasmet, Airmodus, MegaSense, and Airel; as
well as Climate Analytics Finland. Research partners, led by the
University of Helsinki, include the Natural Resources Institute
Finland and the Finnish Meteorological Institute.
